It's January in Ohio. Lets study the effect snowballing has on quilt blocks.
-Sewing class meets Thursdays, January 19 and 26
-Class meets from 1:00 - 3:30 p.m.
-Class is limited to 12
-Registration IS required. Please stop by the circulation desk, or call the library during OPEN hours to register, 419-362-7181. We do not take registrations by voicemail or online.
-One registration per person
Registration opens Monday, January 9 at 10:00 a.m.
We will be doing two different blocks.
1st class: the block will be Courthouse Steps
2nd class: the block will be Pinwheel
We will be making 4 blocks in each class. You can make more or just have a small quilt.
*If you want to sew, but make no fabric choice, let Kyle know. She will provide you with fabric and you can sew the blocks and give them to Snuggled in Hope...a win-win for everyone.
Tools/Supplies:
- Sewing machine
- Rotary cutter and mat
- Small ruler
- 12 1/2" square
- Anything else you might need to sew
Fabrics:
- 4 blocks - (20) 4 1/2" squares of a background fabric & (12) 2 1/2" x 42 cuts
OR
- 4 blocks - (20) 4" squares & (12) 2" x 42 cuts
Supply list for second class will be passed out at/after the first class.
