This month's gardening series topic is "Selecting Hydrangeas for Your Landscape."
Hydrangeas are relatively easy to grow, and there are six species commonly grown in Ohio. There are different characteristics to consider when choosing the right plant for your landscape. For example, if you wish to attract pollinators you need a species with fertile flowers. Or if you have a particularly sunny yard, which species will thrive depends on soil type and water availability.
This program taught by Morrow County Master Gardener volunteers via The Ohio State University Morrow County Extension Office. Classes are free and open to all.
