Smokey Bear Reading Challenge
October is fire prevention month and we are promoting fire safety and Smokey Bear's 80th birthday with our Smokey Bear October Reading Challenge.Join Smokey in learning about wildfire prevention and the environment. Read three books on wildfire prevention or the environment and earn four badges to complete the challenge. You earn four badges by completing listed activities under four of seven categories: Learn about Smokey Bear, Campfire Safety, Nature Adventure, Tree Exploration, Career Exploration, Wildfire Science, and Make a Difference. We have a selection of books available from the reading list and materials to complete activities in house.
Challenge is geared for ages 4 - 10 years, but all ages are welcome to participate.

FCC Emergency Broadband Benefit
The Emergency Broadband Benefit is an FCC program to help families and households struggling to afford internet service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Masks Optional
Due to decreasing COVID cases in our area and on recommendations by the CDC and ODH, the library is relaxing our mask policy.
Modified Hours
Due to illness and the resulting shortage in staff, Perry Cook is closing early Monday, January 24th, and Tuesday, January 25th. We will close at 5:00 pm both days.
Free Family Movies
Enjoy free family movies this summer. Movies are shown at the Capitol Theatre, two showings per movie (11:00 am and 2:00 pm).
