This month's "Gardening With Carri" topic is feeding birds for the winter. This month's program includes a suet make and take.
Winter is for bird watchers. With little vegetation for food and camouflage, bird activity is more visible, especially if you draw them to your area with reliable feeders. However, not all bird seed is created equally, and it's important to choose the right food for the birds in your area.
Carri Jagger is the Agriculture and Natural Resources Educator for the Morrow County OSU Extension Office, and she will provide advice on the best foods to feed local bird populations.
