Circulation of Library Materials Policy

For physical formats (books, audios, DVDs, etc.)

Perry Cook Memorial Library (PCML) makes materials available in a variety of formats for anyone with a valid library card.

In order to ensure that all patrons have the greatest opportunity to access the libraries’ collection, library administration will establish loan periods for materials, including the number of times an item may be renewed.

Holds may be placed on any item that circulates.

Perry Cook Memorial Public Library offers free delivery of materials to persons of any age who are residents living within the boundaries of the Northmor School District, if they meet the following criteria: either temporarily or permanently confined to their home or care facility due to illness, injury or disability.

Policy

Perry Cook Memorial Public Library will provide delivery and retrieval of library materials free of charge to and from eligible patrons who cannot drive due to age, injury, illness or other restriction.  Patrons who need this service on a temporary basis also qualify.  Outreach patrons must have a library card and reside within the Northmor Local School District boundaries (the Perry Cook Memorial Public Library service area).  Deliveries are limited to library materials only.
