PCML Covid-19 Update: Lobby Pick-Up to Start May 18

At this time, based on recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Ohio Department of Health, Perry Cook will not reopen to the public. However, we will begin offering lobby pick-up of materials on Monday, May 18.

We are excited to offer lobby pick-up and provide the opportunity for you to check out new materials. To take advantage of this service, please place your requested items on hold through our website catalog or call the library at 419-362-7181 to request items. Our statewide consortium delivery is not accessible at this time, so currently we can only offer materials from Perry Cook's collection. We will pull your requested materials, check them out to you, and after you show us your card at the door, you will have a fresh batch of items to enjoy.

We are also offering fax drop-off and pick-up as a lobby service. We are requesting exact change for this service.

As always, E-books are available online for check out with your library card. Our Wi-Fi continues to broadcast 24/7, and is accessible in the parking lot.

All books must be returned via the book drop.

Our new hours are: Monday - Wednesday 10:00 am - 8:00 pm, Thurday and Friday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. We have moved to our summer schedule, which has no Saturday hours.

We will provide additional services including copying, notary, and computer use, all by appointment, later in May.

Unfortunately, while we can plan now for how we will restore services to our patrons, we cannot yet establish a firm time frame for when. We must remain flexible to incorporate new information from health and government officials, careful consideration for the welfare of our staff and patrons, and the availability of necessary sanitation and safety supplies.
