Library Board Member Opportunity

The Perry Cook Memorial Public Library (PCML) Board of Trustees is looking for two new members.

The Board of Trustees is the governing body of the Perry Cook Memorial Public Library, a small, rural library serving the Northmor School District.
The Board sets library policies, reviews and approves the annual budget, and determines the general direction of the library. Preference will be given to applicants who are patrons of PCML, or part of the Northmor Local School District.
Applicants should be dedicated to the principles and philosophy of a tax-funded public library.

One position is a seven year term, to begin January 1, 2020. The other position is set to begin as soon as possible, with the term ending December 31, 2024.

The Board meets once a month on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. Special meetings may be required from time to time, and the successful applicant should be able to attend training as necessary. The
Library Board position is a voluntary position. As such, no per diem or mileage will be paid and there are no “perks” other than the pleasure of serving the community.

Interested parties may pick up an application at the library, download and print the attached application, or request one electronically from patriciad@perrycooklibrary.org . Applications accepted until Tuesday, November 5, at 6:00 p.m.
Please feel free to contact Director Patricia Dollisch with any questions by phone (419-362-7181) or e-mail ( patriciad@perrycooklibrary.org ).
